Who We Are
We are a family-owned business. George Hewertson and Roxi Bahar Hewertson
are the founders of both the Highland Consulting Group, Inc. since 1996
and Highland Lodge Center since 2001. We built Highland Lodge Center
to meet a need in the community for a custom-built, private, off-site
meeting and learning place. We are now able to respond to requests to
utilize the grounds and facilities for larger family and group gatherings
and celebrations.
George moved to upstate NY from the highlands of Scotland in 1996, and has literally had a hand in every part of our business. He placed all the stones on the fireplace and touched every surface of Highland Lodge Center at least once! He also helps teams become effective while having fun. Roxi leads individuals/groups through leadership, change management, and team building activities and courses at Highland Lodge Center, and around the country. Together, they have hosted thousands of people at Highland Lodge Center since 2001, many of whom have been guided through the process of learning to work well together.
With the wonderful addition of Simply Red Events to Highland Lodge Center, we are now able to accommodate requests for weddings, receptions, large group celebrations, etc. Please contact Chef Samantha Buyskes at 607-591-1692 or mamared@me.com for event planning at Highland Lodge Center.
